What Is This Tractor..........

Hits an F14 Farmall, unless a F12 has been converted to the upright steering wheel position.
Wheather its worth the price, depends on the individual or the desirability of it.
When I was collecting tractors I have had them given to me and paid up to $100.00 for some.

It's a F-14 Farmall. They only made them in 1938, and 1939, so it's one of those two years. As far as value is concerned, I have no idea.

F14 similar to one in the ad. This one had a modified starter arrangement, as starter was not available from the factory.

Very helpfull post, thanks. Was looking for information on what it actually is. Sure do appreciate the help though.

1938/39 F-14. Electric starter WAS an option on these(but not F-20).However,a lot of non electric tractors were 'converted' to
electric start with "farmerneered" systems The A/B replaced it,not H. H replaced the F-20 M replaced F-30.

It is an F-14,(1938-1939) Long brake levers, raised steering wheel, crankcase vent on valve cover. Electric start was available on late O-12 so assume also available on late F-12. Starters certainly available on O-14, W-14 and F-14. Kerosene/distillate F-14s had the gasoline starting tank in the hood (as had always been the case with W-12, O-12, I-12 and Fairway-12) whereas in the F-12 it was inside the rear of the main fuel tank, again it is possible that late F-12s had the revised starting tank position. F-12 has final reduction gearing in gear housings inside each wheel, F-12/F-14 had long axles with large diameter wheels (54 inch on steel and 36 inch or 40 inch on rubber. The cast wheel centres in the photographs are for 40 inch rims.
The Farmall H replaced both Farmalls F-12/F-14 and F-20, power of an F-20 on the size of an F-12/F-14. The Farmall M replaced the F-30.
The Farmalls A and B were NEW small tractors to compete with the Allis Chalmers B

(quoted from post at 00:55:04 04/30/15) Not far from me, it snowed again there this past weekend but for the most part the banks are melted.

Where are you located Ken? I'm near Sussex. There are a lot of Macfarlanes around here.
