I have seen some posts about the use of bad language. Many so -called bad words were acceptable to use before Queen Elizabeth, (read the works of Chaucer or Shakespeare). Queen Elizabeth took issue with the subjects using words of the poor, uneducated, working class, or VULGATE people. The queen did not want noble to use such words as they were able to express themselves in Latin. The educated, noble, and professional people used Latin for communication about excrement, reproduction and anatomy while the vulgates used the unacceptable words. The taboo words were rejected by the clergy and continues today.
I am not advocating the use of dirty words of the working people. Harry Truman, a very self educated man and President of the United States had a dirty vocabulary that would have shocked the queen or his own mother, and was an embarrassment to his wife. The moderators may screen the language as they see fit. Bryce uses the language of a tractor mechanic or operator. I doubt if he wears his coat and tie on plow day, He nay even chose to misuse a pronoun or adjective. He uses some vulgar language from the Vulgate people.
