Power steering does not work. How does steering work? Is it a fluid coupler like on some Deere tractors. What should pump pressure be?

Are you talking about on the MF245? Does it have a Perkins engine? My MF294-4 is a re badged Landini and has a Perkins engine. The power steering has a separate pump on the front of the engine down in there where you can't see it. Supposed to be basically the same pump as the hydraulic pump. Never had any problems to see. Not familiar wit MF equipment. I think this is the only one in the country.

Pump and resevoir combined are on the right side of the engine, below the generator.....fill the resevoir with fluid and steer from side to side until it is primed....
