Three new things came to visit and stayed. All for free. New set of leather punches, Cigarette holder, free snow over the potato patches. Potato patches are all Wisconsin Burbank Russets. Now the cig holders are a gift to me from my son. I look like a movie star when using it.Potato's are snow covered so it shouldn't hurt em. Used the 706 to cultivate the compost into the garden and the Troy Bilt to finish off any clumps left over. Guess I'm really lucky.

PS, Today we recieved our 3 fruit trees (2plum,1 peach) and 2 free fertilizer kits with tree wrapping ,plus our $10.00 rebate from Henry Fields. Now if we can get the weather to cooperate, they will be in the ground soon.

old weldor,
Sorry for your loss, but there are people in their 90's who smoke and are still going, it all depends on your genetic factors. I'm 80 and been smoking since I was 15. Some people never smoke and die of many things, other than cancer, life is a crapshoot, just sorry for the ones who shouldn't suffer from dibiltating diseases.

I just used a set of those punches the other day. I needed to make a few radiator mounting pads for my MF245, I cut a couple square pieces from a leftover section of upper radiator hose and used the punch to make the hole in the rubber, worked perfectly. I figured the radiator hose is a higher quality and reinforced rubber and hopefully last a long time.

I could have ordered the rubber pads and spent maybe $15 bucks and waited 5+ days but I wanted them now.

4play,
Did about the same thing you described in making radiator mounting rubber mounts for our 72 Ford plow truck. Sure comes in handy when a person is in a hurry.
Regards LOU.

I quit smoking about 4 weeks ago. The drugs from the knee replacement helped a lot I think. I do sometimes miss them.

Good for you!!! I quit drinking, cold turkey, a year ago, April 11. Lots of reasons. Same attitude that got me through paratrooper training, and Special Forces....ok, that was, Never Quit! Well, just stubborn German attitude. I do tip an occasional one, but I"m no longer the tarbender"s retirement plan!

I quit drinking over 20 years ago, expensive and I want to keep my CDL. Good for you.

I had my last one on the 15th,one week ago, but have been slowly weaning myself off since a heart scare back in January. Heart problem isn't smoking related, but it doesn't help it, and having my heart stopped for 2 seconds was scary enough to make me realixe I needed to quit. I went from almost 2 packs a day, down to less than 5 a day, so on my birthday I decided I was ready! Smell is already coming back, taste is coming back, and Im able to breath better again. Hoping for another 45 years!

You could buy three beautiful firearms every year for what you spend on those coffin nails. I quit 5 years ago after smoking for 40 years. Putting $5 in a jar every day sure helped me stay off them.

Bought my punch set 6 or 8 years ago down in the Opry land mall in some cheap tool store while waiting for my wife and daughter. Needed a gasket last fall for my Onan carb., $190 for a kit, used the punches instead.

Lou those people you mention who are old and still smoking are the exception not the rule. I'm sorry but if you smoke long enough your gonna have lung disease heart disease or cancer. Or all of the above its just a fact of life. It's your business not mine I'm just stating the facts.

I started using this type of e-cigarette in January, variable power by twisting the base to reduce the strength. Use a thin liquid, original tobacco flavour. Have reduced normal cigarette consumption down from 20 to 4 a day - noticing big reduction in what I was spending, pack of 20 cigs here now cost $13.80 !!!

The punches will come in handy....just wait and see

I quit smoking over 22 years ago after smoking for over 40 years.....I'm over 80 years old now and had to change a few things in my life because of dropping the smoking habit but I think anyone one can give up smoking if they really want to, no exceptions.....I certainly reccommend quitting the rotten weed. No matter how good or how bad your health is, you will feel better once you get over the effects of tobacco.
