Hey guys,

I need a little help understanding how to add power steering fluid to my MF 2135 industrial tractor. It has a leak near the hose running to the left cylinder, at the cylinder. Before I fix it, I need to see exactly where the fluid is leaking from, but I'm not sure where to add the fluid and what fluid to add. I'm in the process of getting a manual for it but pictures and/or diagrams would help. I can provide more info if needed, thanks.

(quoted from post at 03:15:40 04/22/15) This model has the oil fill at the pump/tank assembly, Perkins has a plug on the can, Continental has a removable lid just in front of the distributor.

Thanks Dieseltech, but my tractor has a 4 cylinder gas engine. Any idea where the power steering filler is and what oil I should use?

You have the Continental. Remove the bolt holding down the can lid in front of the distributor, if oil is red use ATF, if not red use trans-hydraulic oil.

Thanks again. The oil was red so I added some ATF (it was basically empty) and the "power" is back in power steering. Now to find the leak and fix it!
