A guy that works for me had bought some property that an old plumber had. The guy kept everything. In a drawer in the old shop there was several of this clip like things. Anyone have any idea what they might have been used for? It's driving us nuts not knowing. Thanks - Bob

Well, it's kind of hard to see because that thing is in the way, but one appears to be a razor knife and the other one appears to be a 6 inch ruler. HTH

Looks like some kind of safety hook aint nothing will bounce outta that. must be osha approved hazardous material bucket hook.

rope tie down of some sort? Maybe a tarp tie down for a pre strung tarp on a wagon.. but again,.,, just a wild guess.

It looks to me like the clip riveted to the birchen of a horse harness to hook the tugs too when you unhitch the horses from a wagon or other implements.

Looks like a self latching gate closer to me. Not sure how it works, but a rod might flip the cam over and keep the gate from being opened by livestock messing with it.
