OT, ID Theft

Sorry for the off topic post, just venting my anger and wanting your thoughts. I do not have ID security such as "Life Lock." Does anyone here have
something similar for protection? My pastor just had some low life hack into his accounts by stealing his ID. I have pondered this for sometime and am
now considering it seriously. I can purchase this security through my local bank, just frustrates me that some ------ scum of the earth out there that
thrives on other people.

Lifelock is a good deal and works, had it for 4 yrs. They call, text and e-mail if anything strange happening. And a monthly e-mail if nothing has happened.

This is something that happened to my son in law. We live in Pennsylvania. He recieved a cell phone alert that some person in Ohio was attempting to use his credit card number to make a purchase. Credit card company wanted to know if it was him. Then they asked if he had been in a airport that week, which he was in Detroit. Credit card company said someone scanned the information from his card while walking along side of him. From what I hear, there is some kind of covering that goes over the credit card so that this can't happen.

There is some kind of a metal credit card sleeve out there on the market. I've heard you can wrap the card in aluminum foil. I'd be kind of a pain if you use the card a lot but it's a pain if you get hacked.
