Way OT fertilizer ratios

I want to use a garden hose end sprayer to do my yard. it is calibrated for Miracle Grow; how can I figure out using 8-8-8 liquid or pre diluting
it? i don't want to mess up my yard and plants.educate a dumbie.

Do you know the weight of a gallon of triple 8? My guess would be around 10-11 pounds per gallon, so for every gallon applied, you are putting on about .8 lbs each of n-p-k. From there you can figure out how much fertilizer is neede.

Your pocket book will play out way before you hurt your yard with that stuff. Might be mowing twice a week but doubt that you can get enough to hurt the yard.
