Fox Tractors in New Jersey

I trying to find out more about Fox Tractors and their use in New Jersey, most specifically if anyone has any information about D&R in Ringoes, NJ and their history. Thank you for any help

David Bond and Roger Everitt were the owners of D&R. They sold a lot of Fox forage harvesters when this was a big dairy area. Roger's son Dave Everitt operates Everitt Equipment LLC in the same location.

Here is the newspaper article from when they retired. Dave Everitt can probably give you a lot of information since he was around it his whole life.

Excellent! This is great information. Did you ever personally get any Fox products there? Someone had told me they were the premier Fox dealer at the time

We never had any Fox equipment. My grandfather hired his silo filling done (which was done by a Fox chopper sold by D&R.) I did get Gehl parts from them and bought a lot of used equipment there. Back in the early 80s there were still many dairy farms around here and almost every one used a Fox. Just within 5 miles of our farm, there must've been 20 active dairies then and one had a JD chopper, one had a late model Allis-Chalmers, two had New Holland and everybody else ran Fox.

I am doing legal research for someone and I need to prove that Fox did in fact do business in New Jersey at some point. Would you or do you anyone who could speak to this being a fact? Any help would be greatly appreciated

www.everittequipment.com would be the place to start. Could also try to get in contact with Dave Bond through his son's business, www.davestractors.com

Interesting, about 15 or 20 years ago I bought a 1950 original owner low,low first gear Farmall M at a farm estate sale in Northern N.J. They had a Fox chopper there, and the deceased's brother told me,that that is what the low gear Farmall M was for,for pulling that chopper around the hills up there.

Another words someone is going to get sued???
What exactly is legal research? With a handle like "tractorfan1234" I bet you don't have a tractor...
