Nothing like a good fire. Had one myself last week to get rid of all the extra parts from our house addition/ remodel project. Woke up to an inch of snow and figured it would be a good day to get rid of it. It's too bad old concrete blocks and such don't burn...

Did that myself 2 weeks back, big pile like that, but a few days after the burn ban we have of 3-15 to 5-15 but under ideal conditions. One less place for groundhogs to den, the pile had been there too long, good timing and weather.

Take the old steps and such down to a little stream and make an artsy fartsy little water sculpture.

You guys are very lucky!! I used to do controlled burns of brush and other items back in the day. However here in SoCal the AQMD is all over you to the point that burning brush is impossible.

Whoof!

That looks hot. Had a fire I took a picture of and it did not do the picture justice. I can feel the eyebrow-scorching heat from here.

I meant to add a pic of my firetruck for control. Electric sprayer with 30 gallons of water and I needed it after the pic was taken as it started spreading thru the grass.
