I am installing a starter kit on a John Deere A. Anybody have any ideas as to where I should put the battery?

I'm putting mine inside the front frame rail. I converting one too. Tired of struggleing to get the SOB to start!Or you could
hang the battery off the outside frame rail.Or set it on top,next to the starter and steering support.Think about it,do
whichever works best for you.

A lot were mounted under the seat like the 47 up A's were made.

What size battery were you going with? Would 500CCA be enough or should it be bigger?
