New Holland tractors

Yesterday I saw a sight that I have never seen before. I went by the New Holland dealer and they were unloading big tractors. There must be 50 or 60 big 4 wheel drive tractors with duals sitting in there storage lot. When I was in there a couple weeks ago the salesman told me they have 30 of them to get ready by April. Some one is making money or hoping to

Believe what you want, but no one is making enough money to justify that kind of expense and I'll just keep the rest of my comments to my self , I just don't have the time to share them

Where's that? McBain? Do they have them sold or are they going out on lease to the dairies and custom operators up there?
That must make Baders feel good though. Mother Deere gives them Voelker's dealerships and New Holland scores a deal like that. lol

It's the same here. The Case/IH and Deere dealers are keeping the same amount of inventory. Its that way every year and they seem to keep moving them somewhere. It's the same with the combines. There are several of the row crop and rice boys that lease their tractors and swap out fairly often. They are also the ones that have big mailboxes. Us hillbilly livestock guys still have to work for a living

I think they are going out on a lease. In the Mcbain, Falmouth area there a a few very large dairy operations and they milk 24 hours a day. Most hire out their field work to a couple of outfits in the area. In the past these outfits had Case and last year one of them had at least 10 new Case tractors. These thing were huge. They start out in the spring with manure and then they chop hay and later corn. When I talked to the salesman at Deere last week he said that their main sales up here was compact tractors. Mcbain New Holland is going to build a new building to the east of town and will open it this fall. When I went thru there yesterday there were a couple of trucks waiting to unload and each had 1 tractor on a lowboy

I hope leasing tractors works better than leasing cars. I never could make leasing a car for personal use pencil out, therefore never leased a car. The tractor lease should have some tax advantages.

KEH

That"d be a lot of money sitting there, though the new case and new holland 4wd tractors are a good tractor, the iveco motor has good power and is efficient, they have a nice smooth powershift also
