Well that's the end of "Top Gear" !!! On the web today there is a video that the BBC has canned Jeremy Clarkson. He was on the show for almost 25 years? They said his language, off color jokes, and something about hitting? NUTS that is why I loved watching the show cause it was so ...I guess you could say ,crude? WIll miss it. PC has taken over the world!

It was on the AM news. He apparently punched one of his producers over not having hot food at his hotel for him after filming. I liked him on the show but I imagine he could be a real tool in real life.

It will be missed. I can't imagine Jezza will go quietly into the night... I sense a new show on the horizon. A Netflix original would be nice.

Jeremy Clarkson WAS Top Gear. The show will be nothing without him.
At least he knew how to get a hair cut compared to the other two bums.
By the way, who goes to the hospital for a fat lip????
Sounds like the guy should have did his job and brought the hot food. LOL

He will really be missed and he will be irreplaceable. Your right about his side kick, they need hair cuts and a little more bravado/smarts. Used to watch the program when in Germany in late 1990's and the then side kicks, I think, had enoughs presence and knowledge to control his ego. It was not star and two stooges back then.

There was a little more to the story. He punched out the producer over no hot food being available at 10+ PM at the hotel. The helicopter that was to take them back to the hotel , sat on the ground from 7 PM until 10 PM because cvlarkson was drinking in a local pub for that time and refused to leave earlier..

will not bother me in the least i am so tired of all these so call reality shows they all full of drama that really is not there just a bunch of bull

I don't think Top Gear will go away. Too many fans. They will have some difficulty setting up a new guy. Clarkson became a tiresome arrogant jerk a couple of years ago (maybe longer), but the show is still viable. Been watching since the start.

Had he only restricted his punching to Piers Morgan. His punching Piers out made him a bit of a hero in my eyes. ;-)

I guess I did watch about 3 minutes of one episode once, that was enough I ain't gonna miss him...

I like the show since it was so crazy but, it's probably done. It's like two and a half men without Charlie Sheen.

Well, considering that there is only one broadcasting company in England, Clarkson won't be seen on television there any time soon...

That leaves American television his only option. Considering how much he hates America, Americans, and everything about us, I don't see him being back on the air any time soon.

I should have added about the time they turned a COMBINE into a SNOW plow. Worked pretty good. Another was the race from London up the east coast , Jaguar, Norton bike and a Stem locomotive. GREAT The topper was the race between the RAF Euro fighter and a Bugate Veron. spelling

Is he the guy that was fired the second time he hit his boss?

Cars are a popular enough subject that the "Top Gear" show will continue on with new cars, new hosts and new characters, much like "Doctor Who", "Motor Week" and "This Old House".

MOSCOW — A television station owned by the Russian defense ministry is offering a job to former “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson.

This is the first sentence of a story in the March 27 daily on-line issue of TIME magazine. Clarkson has not commented on the offer yet.
