Industrial Hemp has about as much to do with Marijuana as a Dandelion has to do with a Rose. It was a viable, money making Crop prior to 1950's Pot Scare, no, it's not going to save the World, but it could help some People struggling to keep their Lives and Homes afloat Financially as it does in Canada and many other Countries, without complicating the eradication of illegal pot crops.
 
The Tennessee legislature legalized industrial hemp here on a permit basis but there is no market,and there will be THC testing thru-out growing season.
 
People should read the report that Henry Ford had done in the 1930s.
Growing industrial hemp and soybeans one could build an automobile and fuel it right off the farm.
The people that grow the Latin Lettuce are afraid that the industrial hemp might cross breed their crop and lower the quality of it.
 
Well anyone can see that by banning Hemp they got rid of all Pot in this country(LOL)
The Gov't is so stupid that growing Hemp is probably still illegal in places where
Pot is legal these days.Wonder which has been the greatest failure War on Drugs or
or War on Poverty?
 
If I heard on the radio the state of Kentucky Allows it to be grown. I would love to get some Hemp fabric from china to make some items. Civil war era it was quite common to have shirts and such made from hemp cloth. VERY soft and strong. China grows the stuff al over the place. There are "T" shirts made from it.
