Yep, A gift is a gift, but not always something we want.

I would like to return yesterday. Boss calls me at eleven when he left for town to get corn and tells me some calves are running down the road in front of him and for me to get the atv and bring them back, he didn't see where they went when he turned onto the county road. I was about two minutes behind him after he called. I get to the county road and don't see any calves. Drove around for a couple of minutes and couldn't find anything. Figure they must have got back in the pen already. Headed back to the shop and happened to see the neighbor lady walking a black dog up her lane. Went on past and got to thinking, she doesn't have a black dog. Turned around and went to meet her. Sure enough, she is herding three calves up the road. When the calves got to me, they bolted and headed east up the road to the highway. One went into a neighbor's yard and the other two kept going. Went back and talked to the lady. Said she had seen five of them come thru her place and two of them had headed west across another field. Without giving all the details, I spent seven hours on foot and the atv getting all five of them back. Found the last two just before dark about a mile from the shop.
