BTDT Oldest daughter broke me of swearing when she was 3?. I smashed a finger repairing my P.U., she was helping. Went in for a cup of coffee. She was playing smash up with her toys, smashed a finger. What came out of her mouth was word for word, inflection, tone all of it. WHAT SHE HAD JUST HEARD ME SAY.... By the way she is 31 now, and a pretty fair mechanic.

Growing up here on the livestock farm Pa always used the s word when referring to manure. When in 2nd grade we were studying animals I freely used the s word in class. You would have thought the whole world was coming to an end when the nun heard me saying it loud and clear. They tried telling me not to say that word as it is a "dirty" word. I insisted that is not a dirty word. My dad says it all the time.
