adding on a 3pt on a white 125

I came across a white 125 workhorse. I am rather interested in it but it does not have a 3 pt. I was wondering if anyone has added a 3 pt onto a white tractor? Also would a white 2-135 or similar model or any model rear end bolt up to the 125?

Thank you
Dan

Doesn't it have a rockshaft then? I think the 120,140 etc used the same rearend and transmission as the 2-135 and 2-155 didn't they? Just used a Cummins engine?

I have a 120 and 2-135. Will check a few things and repost. But my gut feeling is they will. The transmissions will not interchange.
You would have to find a 120 for scrap price to make it worthwhile.
Years ago, I put a 3 point hitch on an 1850. Cost was not bad, but it was quite time consuming.

So kinda off topic on this subject, but that 3pt that you added to your 1850, was that a universal design? I'm looking for something like that to go on a 4020 bareback.

I put a factory 3 point hitch on my 1850. But, I have bought a few tractors with aftermarket 3 point hitch. They work good for cultivators, post hole diggers. Plowing you do not have any load sensing. They are fairly good, but not like a factory. I also notice they come in lighter to quite heavy construction.

i have a 2-150 that has external cylinders to raise the 3pt arms, may be easier to convert than the internal ones. look at a 4-210, it has the 2-135 2-155 rearends on it and would be a lot easier to see everything as its all in the open
