I loaded hay on a wagon built on an old car frame like that for a neighbor as a kid. It was the most wobbly, tippy wagon I was ever on. Let it stay in the snow.

LOL... better get dry.

It's neat. Wonder if it was used as a feed bunk. I like that truck wheel with the wooden spokes... wonder if that's just a solid hunk of rubber on that wheel.

I am "stalking" a pair of old manure spreaders... waiting for spring to come so I can pull into an end drive and not get stuck. I think I can get a couple of good pics right from the road ditch (otherwise I will ask the neighbor who owns it to see if I can walk on the land).

Thanks!

I did ask this lady, told her I wanted to walk in a bit and take a winter picture ,she thought it was a great idea, she has a horse boarding place, the wagons been there way before her

I did figure that you had asked.

Just sometimes I'll sneak a few shots of an old machine or building from an end-drive or the roadside if it's wide... and I keep waiting for someone to come ask me what in tarnation I'm doing.

Saw in today's paper that Ed Zimmerman, from Grabill, In. died, he closed his welding business in 1968 that his father started His dad built a running gear for a flat bed grain wagon back in the 30's for my dad. It was made from an old Plymouth car frame and yes it had left hand lugs on the left two wheels.

My Dad made a trailer from an old Chandler automobile. That car had a really strong frame. My brother gave that trailer to our nephew who still used it.
