How did the the 2000 loader mount to the axle on a farmall 806? I have one given to me of a farmall 350a and I want to mount it on my 806 gas I know I'm gonna half to change something cause to the different axle housings and probly length! Once I get I could figure out away but thought I post on here I get me thinking!

That loader was built by Great Bend. You will need to extend the 4x4" struts to the rear axle, to compensate for the length of your tractor, and then fab up a bracket/clamp for your rear axles. ( may be mistaken, but think your rear axles are dimond shaped) At the front of the tractor you can cut a peice of 8" channel iron, and drill it to fit your front bolster, to support the front frame work, and hook up your hyds. Pretty simple, if you have welding equipment and skills.

I have a 756 with the 2001 loader, same frame as yours. If needed, I can get you picts of my mounts.
The loader was meant to be mounted on a Farmall 460 or a 504. I have approx 12 inches of a 5x6 iron tube mounted to the front of the axle with long threaded rod/bolts on top/bottom with a heavy flat iron bent around the rear diamond of the axle, then the frame of the loader is bolted to the front of the 5x6 tube(placed verticle) at front side of axle. The tube is your spacer -hope this makes sense.
My loader had the original front side frame mounts that are simple irons bolted to the engine frame rails with the loader frame resting on top of these irons. Front side mounts are not bolted to the loader frame.

Well the correct mounting for a 2000 loader FOR and 06 -56 the loader frame goes under the axle and has a angled stop plate welded on the front that matches the axle housing and a mounted U/bolt that flips over top of the axle . The ft. of the loader slips into the frame mounts . I had and org. 2000 loader for a 06-56 tractor on one of my 706's . I removed it off one 706 to sell the tractor at a sale and tagged in the loader and mounts in another row. Tractor sold well but NO body wanted the loader and after the third sale i pulled it and brought it home and put it on my rag 706 to load and unload stuff and sort and reload for different sale. Tough loader as it would handle a 13 foot Brillon Cultimulcher with no problems it would lift a 2 row New Idea picker . Even lifted a 70 Cheve Impala off the ground and up on a flat bed semi trailer . It was tougher then the spindles on the ft. end .

I would just weld a piece of tube to the bottom or top of the frame going back to the axle. Then put bolts through a plate on top of the axle to a plate welded to the tube. Done.
The axles are not a diamond but a hexagon. 6 sided. At least on our 06,56,66 series.
With the tube under the axle it will be limited by what the tractor can hold down. Provided the welding is good.

Here is a drawing that I did a few years ago showing how long the subframe tube is on 2000 and 2001 loaders mounted on 06 and 56 series tractors.
