Timing injector pump

I have a massey furgsen 135 year is a 1969 I had the fuel
injector pump repair when I installed it back on tractor I got into
big hurry forgot to put bolt on front of the pump that slides into
the dowel I crank the tractor shear the dowel pin now I put
amnother one in but I cannot figure how to time the pump any
suggestion

Find TDC compression and have the dashes top and bottom lined up in the pump window.

The dowel pin in the gear aligns up with the groove cut into the drive hub on the CAV DPA pump on your tractor. Then line up the pump scribe line with the line on the timing cover.
