Of all the places this guy had to park his trailer, he picked the worst possible place. He is doing some remodel work on one of the old buildings in our community meeting grounds. Stan

Bad luck.
If the tree doesn't let loose from the stump it pinches them pretty good.
Reminds me of these pics I posted in stuck and troubled a few years ago.

saw a similar deal years ago in town, a semi driver, apparently new to the job unhooked his fully loaded trailer on a old, small store's parking lot, 1 or 2 inches of old pavement, guess where the landing gear was in the morning? since there was no large wrecker in town then it took a tire store, which had the only set of jacks around that could lift the weight, a full day and many rr ties to get the trailer back up to the top of the pavement then rehooked to the tractor

Can't compete with that one, but we did leave a forklift out in the hot sun one July day here in Florida. Went to bring it inside and it had just settled down in the asphalt and was resting on the frame.

Well if you look at the bright side??

It will be there when you want to use it,
Sure as heck no one going to steel it.

When we lived on US 1 north of Boston, they were working on the road. A Ready-mix driver pulled his right wheels onto the berm and parked his truck til they needed his load, got out and was chatting with his friends. They called for his load only to find the right wheels had sunk into the berm and the truck was on it's side. They called out the biggest wrecker in the area to right the truck. By that time, the concrete had set in the barrel. They dug a hole with a backhoe, cut the barrel off with a torch, and buried it.

That is a eucalyptus. Probably close to 75 years old. Out here on the left coast where I live that is the best wood we have to burn. It is very hard. Stan
