This room of my house is heated wit ha space heater and I have one cat that lays right in front of it most of the time. I also have one or 2 that try to sit on my lap when sitting here messing with the computer

One of our cats did that once and only once! Goofy thing jumped on top of the hot wood stove, I wish I had the camera to catch this site, Eyes as big as golf balls fur on end and his body never moved but his feet were going 500 miles an hour before I knocked it off the wood stove! It didn't hurt him but he didn't do that again, but if I open the door he will come over and lay in front of it to get warm. Bandit

A whole "herd" of cats used to be called a "glaring". I saw one once as I was driving home at night on the back road. There were a bunch of lights on the road, and as I got closer I could see that it was 8 or 10 cats all gathered around close to each other. One of the strangest things I ever saw...

Stan,
what caught my eye is the copper kettle for washing clothes. I've got my grandmother's in the living room and we store the piano sheet music in it. (Piano hasn't been played in 20+ years but that's another story ). Told my kids not to fight over it when I'm gone but all they say is "don't worry". :roll: I expect someone will get a good estate sale find for just a few $$$.

Do you have the top for it as well?
