Does anyone know what scudda hoo scudda hay have to do with farming?
Hint" they have the same man in both movies.

I saw that movie when I was maybe 10 years old. My dad farmed with horses so he wanted to see that movie. I thought when the farmer wanted the horses or mules to move he would yell scudda hoo scudda hay and slap the reins on their back??????? But that was almost 60 years ago and my memory has faded a lot since then.

It was a serial story in the Country Gentleman magazine before it was a movie. I read the story and then saw most of the movie. 2 different stories really. That's all I got.
