Haven't heard much news about people that feed the world but prayers are sent from southwest mo. to the people that have cattle & livestock. Can't imagine how much livestock have been lost.

We do not have many problems with cattle being affected by cold weather here in the NE. Our cattle have feed and water and a barn or a run-in shed so they can get out of the wind.
I believe you are thinking about the cattle out on the western plains where they are left out on the range and are sometimes driven by the snow and wind until they become trapped by a fence or other structure, where they die because of the cold or suffocation.
