Finally got the heat houser on, first time on this tractor with loader.

I've been gonna put mine on my 750 for a while now, but of course I haven't taken the time and consequently have frozen my hocks blowing snow for the last week.

That's what my loader tractor looks like NE. I usually don't mind it, but today it is raining and sloppy so I used the 7800 with the loader. I just hate using it to feed because it is so big. Just being barely small enough to fit through gates and not being able to see where all of the little calves are makes me nervous. I prefer doing it old school with the M and loader.

The one I made fit my 2N doesn't look as neat, but it has a roof.
I think it was for a Ford 2/3000. $40 on CraigsList.

A heat houser works pretty good on a two banger with that exhaust manifold on top of the engine. A piece of cardboard strapped up to the bottom of the frame between the front wheels and bottom of the cylinder head help keep the air from the fan blowing back and up instead of down on the ground. Turning the manifold to hot helps a bit too. If you do all that and put her on a plow your tongue will be hanging out. I can't see in your picture if you have one but a curved strap iron can be bolted to the frame on the left side to keep the canvas off the hot manifold if the wind happens to be blowing the curtain into the left side of the tractor.

Looks good, but can you move it back some, you won't be protected much. I will have to look at my 630 and see how close the mount is to the steering wheel. chris

It does look like it could come back a little farther. If it's back too far you can't push the clutch far enough ahead unless the Heat Houser has that special pocket for the clutch lever.

When I bought a new one in the 70's for my 51 A it was too short and would not fit. I had it cut and added a 4" strip in between the parts and then it fit as it should have. Have the cover yet but no tractor to put it on. Also had the roof for it. Later modified the roof to fit on cover on a 65 Ford 4100 side door cover.
