Ya,the darned galvanized steel on there is 35 years old now. Could use some paint. Too cold to paint it today. lol

Nope,I don't. I remember back when you could buy those at the sale in Archbold for a song. Now you'd have to mortgage the farm to buy one.

No I don't need any of those green and yellow tractor wannabee's. It took me long enough to find suckers to trade Olivers to me for the one's I had. I traded this 4040 for a 2-135 Series 3 White, the 3010 for an Oliver 1600,the 60 for a Super 55 and the 1020 for an Oliver 500. Good riddance.

I seen a lot of them at shows but didn't realize they were 3 cylinder until I read the article. Also has a picture coming down assembly line in Charles City with Oliver industrials on next line. They say the 98s bring big bucks also. I have a friend that I show with that has 98s & 97s.

We just finished putting the wood stove pipe in the green house.. . Have had a brand new wood stove in there for 18 years, and we finally got around to hooking the pipe up today!!!

Proper planning prevents pis poor performance!

Want something to burn in it? I'll trade you the wood from those trees for that wood beam plow, but you'll have to drive here to make the swap.

Hehehe, I am going to pass for now... Let me think about it though??? :)

We have PILES of logs around here. The Inland North West had one of the worst summer wind storms I have ever seen, and everyone was paying me to haul off their logs/trees. :)

I have that 2 ton running gear, and just put short little bunks on it, and was hauling 10-15 foot logs on it, loading/unloading with out little Yanmar and then when I got back to our house where the decks of logs were, i just put two big chains around the whole load and picked it all off with the backhoe!! E A S Y!!! :)

Should be able to be at your front door in 5 or 6 days huh? :p

I though you were talking about those Bob Villa type shows on weekend tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The olivers look nice.

We had a 99 and I was just flipping through the ops manual yesterday.Grandpa has an ad he clipped from the farm paper dated 1991. Someone was selling a nice running 99. They were asking $3500...
