Bristol 20 Crawler

Hi
I am just about to restore a Bristol 20 crawler
that I have owned for a couple of years.
If there is anyone out there with a bit of
knowledge on them I would only be to pleased to
hear from you
I took the bonnet of this evening and found the
exhaust manifold rotted away.
The engine in mine is an Austin A 70 petrol engine
and dates to late 1940 early 1950

Hi Bob, I do not think this site will be able to help you as very few Bristol crawlers found their way to the USA. I would start by looking at the Austin car owners clubs etc. Were in the UK are you located. MJ

I posted it on this site as I know alot of English experts use this site
I have looked at some of the Austing sites but its early in my search for info and just trying to short cut a long search
I live in Wiltshire between Bath and Chippenham

Hi Bob,

I also have a Bristol 20 I am restoring.
How are you getting on with yours? I am currently having trouble replacing track pins and bushes.
Would be great to here from you to share information.
