Recently purchased a Long 2610 that came with a Long brand loader attachment. Very good setup and I have been pleased. However, I have noticed that when letting off of the main lift valve that the loader will drop 4-5 inches before stopping and I have attributed that to the cylinders needing repacking. What I am wondering about is that the tilt cylinders which have smaller rods (although close to the same diameter barrel) than the main lift cylinders operate at about half the speed of the main lift. Could this problem possibly be located in the valve spools? I thought about kinked metal lines but couldn't locate anything that looked like it would be restricted enough to cause what I am seeing. Any ideas, and could the drop on the mains be related?
