It's too "cool" to to get outside for a while, So I will start a poll on old engines.
What is the oldest engine you have on your farm including tractors. Can be running or not. Pictures please if possible.
Mine are a 1942 JD H that gets used a lot in the summer and fall. 1917 Model T Ford that I drive in good weather.
The oldest engine I have is a 1912 Fairbanks Morse 1 HP Eclipse gets run occasionally.

1924 Fairbanks Morse 6 HP "Z" on it's own cart.

Right now it is all torn apart, and has been sandblasted. I bought it for my dad for his B-Day last year, and one of this years B-Day presents for him is a "professional paint job" :)

No pictures... But I will get some on here in a month or so when it is all done! :)

IHC Model M stationary engine. Don't know year but has to be older than the 1944 2N which would be the next one on the list. Sorry, no pictures handy. (They think I am in here working! LOL)

That Indian will also qualify as being gorgeous, Stan. Thanks for posting.

Local farmer lost a huge shed to a fire last week- 120' X 48', or thereabouts- lots of machinery, and 8 motorcycles- one of which was a full-dress late 40's Indian Chief. I guess they did save the side car, but not the bike itself.

(quoted from post at 09:30:54 01/27/15) Not farm related, but my 1936 Indian four Cylinder will qualify as being old. Stan

Have a 1923 MH 6 hp, 1924 MH 1 1/2 hp, 1938 Maytag single running a Maytag washer of the same year, a Cushman Cub 3 hp, and a Maytag twin.
Also have a few diesels running, but are newer.

1939 WC runs good, retired from farming -- just nice to have around and saved her from the scrap man.

Not ready to let that one go. I got it to make sure it would be preserved. I have an American #1 I would sell.
