I tried adjusting but it still didn't fix it we ended up putting a new clutch in it works great now I have do a little more adjusting so it stops moving when the clutch is depressed thanks for the help!

I was looking for your response. Glad you figured it out. Clutch job isn't too bad was it?

I just replaced my swingarm pivot bearings and seal, that took me a bit of time. Added new drive sprockets, chain, seals, tires.

Mine's probably ready for another 27 years od abuse!

No it was real easy had more of a problem getting the oil drain plug back in lol. Ye these things take a beating and keep on ticking great quads!
