Well it looks like a rerun of about eight years ago. Show was going to be 1-3. Then early yesterday they were saying about 4or5. This norning they are all screeming about 6-8 and now it is a possible of 8 to 18 in some areas!!!!! I got my big bad Gravely ready!!

They were talking 3-5" here in NW.Indiana but tracked south of us and all we are getting is light snow.Sounds like you folk on east coast are going to get heavy snow.About all you can do is stocked up on what you need and ride it out.

fired up my snow blower and snowmobile today--they are saying blizzard conditions for 12 hours here on the south shore of long island

We got pretty much just what they predicted (6 inches) here in coastal Maine, but they're hedging their bets on Tuesday/Wednesday's blow.

Sposed to get 15" here on Tues/Wed, with winds. It will make worthwhile blowing for the 1085, I'm sure. Just want to do it before it gets warm or rains, because wet snow plugs up my blower somewhat.

Watching the weather on the national news tonight, they said the Northeast would have a storm of historic proportions. Nothing like trying to scare everybody.
We are supposed to get 8" in my part of PA butt I am betting on ten".

Out here in the Northern Plains, the Land of the Alberta Clippers. it is 50 degrees and brown dirt fields.

Up date time. Again...same as about eight years ago.Two storms are going to merge. The main part of the storm is going to be like 280 miles long up the coast from Delaware to Maine and maybe 90 wide. Here in south Jersey and philly it is going for 6 inches or maybe 10. Now NY city is calling for 24 to 30 inches of snow!! SHAZAM My Gravely is ready and I made sure to pick everything up in the pathways I want to clear. Nothing like blowing a brand new full can of green rustoleum paint through the blower!! Done that.
Looked out side and at 3 am EST it is jussst starting to snow. Here we go baby.

Watching the weather channel this morning. I see they gave the snow storm on the east coast a name. They're calling this one Juno. Last winter, in the Midwest, the weather men were naming each major snow storm. Why do they need to name winter storms?
