got lucky gas $1.69

It started yesterday, gas prices jumped $2.15-$2.29.
Kroger’s hadn't jumped yet, $1.79. I had enough Kroger points to get $.10 off, $1.69. Good think I had about 30 gallons of empty cans in back of truck, saved a lot. Wish I had more cans.

I had to laugh a few days ago- the local paper had a few pictures of $1.99 gas signs around the county. One of them was from a large gas station down near I95. Regular was $1.99, mid was 2.39, premium was $2.59, and diesel was M&T bank......

Can get gas at a Costco for 1.57 I think but you need to be a member and I think use a Mastercard.

I was at Casey's getting just my morning coffee and a donut. Check out girl asked if I had gas? I told her no, but my momma said the smeller was the feller. It must have been you. Everyone got a big chuckle out of that.

LOL...good one. They had asked me at Caseys if I had gas, I put my hand on my stomach and said not today. Maybe I should have added...but thanks for asking. It is fun to jokingly torment people at times, I think it brightens their day.
