Rotoiller rotation speed with PTo at 540rpm

Trying to determine the rotational speed of a rototiller when PTO speed is 540 rpm. Are the all mostly the same?

They're different some like the Howard Rotovator have the ability to change the gears to be able to speed the tines up or down

With Tractor off and PTO disengaged. Turn PTO by hand. Count turns of PTO shaft per Rototiller. There are different rates. Most equipment has a tag on it.

Don't have the gearbox and drivebox. Don't even know the brand just want to make it operational with parts on hand. any intelligent guess would get me started,.Couldn't come up with anything on a web search. HELP!!!!!!!!

Tractor PTO speed 540 RPM
Rotor speed 240 RPM
Tractor Horsepower up to 45 HP

Typically the more the blades and slower a tractor will travel the slower the rpm and HP can be. I use a Howard Select-a-Tilth set at its highest speed (not sure what it is) and it has 6 teeth per flange (3 on the ends). My tractor does not have a creeper gear, but I have more than enough HP to get the job done faster.
