Old Fordson Dealers truck

Late 40's & early 50's Fordson E83W trucks & vans were built in the Ford car plant at Dagenham on the River Thames near London

Fordson tractor dealers all had to paint their service & parts vehicles in Fordson colours and logo's. This is a rare survivor of that time. Ford cars were Fords, and trucks & tractors were Fordson.

Harv, when I was over there visiting family, ALL the girls were PURDY. Course that was 46 years ago and the mini skirt craze had just hit. And Oh Yeah. I was 16.

No such thing as an ugly girl - - although I've seen quite a few that just barely made it!

Convenient timing huh?..... :)

I know that feeling! One of our favorite family games is going to the beach and sitting on the tailgate of the truck and trying to guess what peoples tattoos are....... Always lots of good scenery. :)

Yep. Scenery is nice. I still like to look at pretty scenery. And I'm only 62.
A friend was in town a few years ago with his 80 something year old father in law. A girl in tight jeans walked in front of their pickup at a red light. Pa in law watched every move she made. Son in law asked 'Pop, what are you looking at?".
He simply said "Till the day I die boy".

Ahhh, you've got a good ways to go yet!

My dad is going to be 58 in February.. Time flies huh???

It amazes me at what some of my generation wears... Leaves little to the imagination to say the least!
