Anything to do in Dallas?

Well, I was there for a couple of years one day. Didn't much like it, but, I wasn't there long. They do have bars/taverns (LOTS of them) Hope you have phun. ;^)

Whiskey Bent, Even though this is not Ag related the Dallas Museum of Fine Art has Quite array of Stuff, Art and Museum Collectables from Century's back. I have found it to be very interesting to visit many times!
Gas Monkey Garage, And Gas Monkey Bar and Grill is there in Dallas too if you are into that sort of Car stuff!
Hope this helps
Later,

Cavanaugh flight museum at Addison airport, Dallas museum of Fine Arts, Fair Park just southeast of downtown (small railroad museum and pretty good aquarium, overall interesting place)
Deep Ellum area for music type bars and dives.

On the Fort Worth side there's the Kimbell art museum and the Modern Art museum. No idea what's currently on display.

You can go to the place where they filmed the TV show "Dallas". Never been there myself though.

Six Flags in Arlington may still be open though on a limited basis.

Several good spots to watch the circus from. Even better when it ices over.Stay out of south Dallas.Railroad museum as moved to Frisco. Bright leaders of Dallas kicked it out of town.Flight museum is a good choice. Some of the towns around Dallas have some small farm museum. Ft Worth has some good locations

Marianos restaurant just south of the Arlington stadium where the Texas Rangers play have the best mesquite Fajitas I have ever had!

I've lived in the Dallas area for 42 years. This time of year unless you like art museums there isn't anything to do here. If you liked the Dallas TV show you might go to Plano to the South Fork Ranch.

It doesn't have to snow. It's a circus all year round. A guy passed me on a five lane highway going over 100 miles an hour and someone changed lanes in front of him causing him to loose control. He spun 360 degrees in heavy traffic luckily not hitting anyone and immediately sped up to over 100 mph again. If that had happed to me someone would have had to do CPR on me.

I don't know if it's still there, But the Trail Dust Steak House across from the Hilton in Arlington had some of the best steak I have ever had. Just dont show up wearing a tie. I'll leave it at that.

If you are a NASCAR fan the Texas Speedway is west of Dallas and kind of north of Fort Worth.
