A homeless man standing on a street corner with a sign, was given a large sum of money. Then a tv crew secretly followed him. His first trip was to a liquor store, and came out with a big bag. Just as I thought they said buying liquor. The man then goes to a homeless group and hands out food he purchased at the liquor store, and on to the next group and hands out more food. The producers of the show finally went up to him and apologized for following him to see what he would do with the money. The producers set up a fund for him, so people can donate. He has a hundred thousand dollars so far. Stan

Always hard to tell from outward appearance. We have a local homeless guy here who is at least honest, holds up a sign that says "Need money for beer"

We went and saw the comedian John Blue a month or so ago. If you want to see somebody who looks like a homeless guy, just look him up on Youtube. The guy is hilarious and does a whole bit on how he looks.

Josh Blue? With cerebral palsy? Saw him on TV. His act was clean, which is rare anymore. He explained that shaving was a death sentence since he didn't know what his hand would do!

Ya,Josh,I said John didn't I? He's the one with cerebral palsy. Hilarious. Some of his funniest stuff was telling how his kids interact with him.
He was talking about trying to get a taxi looking like he does. "Ya,right. What's he gonna pay me with,a couple of sticky nickels?".

Do you know what city or what TV station? This sounds like an internet myth. I haven't been in a lot of liquor stores but the ones I have been in didn't have food other than something like beer nuts.

It's on several news sites, the video was originally posted on YouTube. Maybe it happened the way they say, maybe the guy who made the video (identified as a "YouTube prankster") staged it. I'm inclined to think the latter; he made a lot of money from the video.
