I am working on a L245 Kabota tractor that the clutch has stuck on. We installed a new clutch and pressure plate about 1 year ago. Does anyone have an idea how to get it loose and prevent it from sticking again? The tractor sets outside most of the time. Thanks scbob

Google "stuck tractor clutch"

prevention is to depress clutch and put something against it for long term storage or inactivity. My Kubota has a pin that slides when clutch is depressed to hold it down.

Your L 245 came with a little block of wood that is to be installed there to hold the clutch pedal down when not in use to prevent the clutch from sticking.

To get it unstuck, if you can access the edge of the flywheel through an inspection cover or the starter hole, block the clutch pedal down, reach in with a knife blade or scraper and try to pop it loose.

Another trick is to start it up, let it run with the pedal blocked down. But don't do this for long, it will overheat the release bearing.

As a last resort before taking it apart, very carefully get it started in gear, drive it in a higher gear with the pedal held down, goose the throttle, jam the brakes, anything to shock the drive train.
