O/T Can this be a misprint?

List em high you can always go down can't go up . That way when American pickers shows up and says nope no meat on the bone I'd be a buyer at 25 cents if you throw five fully restored tractors in with it. You got something to work with

I would hope Nick meant to ask $500.00 and the decimal point got messed up. Now $500 is a tad high, but at least its a starting point.

It's the "comes with original operators manual" that is making it so valuable ! (grin)

Seriously , must be a typo ?

Must be the same guy that is on ebay. Selling Onan parts. Has an Onan mounting bolt for 10.00 dollars. With a 10.00 dollar flat washer to go with it.

Maybe he looked at the price of a new one. And it is a Deere you know. That makes it worth at least ten times as much as any other brand.

If you type in $500.00 in the price window on the ads it will appear as $50000.00. I did that a couple of times, then I learned not to. Also if you type in $50-100 it will appear as $50100.00. The software takes out all symbols in the price window and automatically adds a $ to the start and .00 to the end of the number you type.

They do look nice when you get them finished but it sure takes a lot of work.

If he actually wants $50,000 for it Id better go buy the one listed up here for $1200, with the shape its in and that guys rate of inflation I could easily ask 1 million for it!!

Around here a GOOD small pull-type has some value. There a people looking for them for whatever reason and there aren't many left. But we're talking $1000 or so tops. Rusted out junkers don't bring much interest, except for maybe someone who needs some parts off them (desperately), usually go right to scrapper.

should have painted it gleaner silver people would jumping over each other to buy it and it would still thresh right with a new one

I bought several old combines like that back in the 70's for $5 at auctions.Lots of good angle material on old pull type combines. All were sold for scrap when the price on scrap went up.
