Combine question.

Looks like a typical Deere to me. Sweet to look at,but it would dissolve in to a puddle a good rain.

I made two mistakes with a John Deere combine I once owned.

The first was when I bought it, and the second mistake was when it got on fire I put the fire out. I should have let it burn and collected the insurance.

I admit, though, it was that particular combine, not representative of all of them.

Wouldn't that get the neighbors talking if someone painted their unloading auger like a candy cane? During one of the 19 years I ran my Deere combine I was ready to set it on fire. That winter I rebuilt it and made it dependable again. The #$#$^ 635 corn head I ran should have gone straight from the factory to the salvage yard brand new.

Randy:

THIS looks like a typical Deer to me, it harvests whatever crops you may have and processes it into a fresh batch of Manure. LOL !

Looks like he moved it from a wheat field in July to a bean field in October. That's a slow burning wick on that thing!

Gooses comment reminds me of what my dad always said about his old junk combines. He said every combine should have a fire extinguisher but it should be filled with gas to help it along if it burns.

[ love all combines dont care what kind they are or what color . there is nothing cooler than operating a combine watching grain roll in the bin
