I like that cut down car. The wife's brother cut off their 38 chev like that. He didn't even leave a backrest on the seat. When I met her he was just finishing it up. She would buzz on past our farm place which was about 6 miles from theirs. I had a 37 ford coupe and I could not keep up with that hot rod. I don't know why we didn't all get killed. That was in 54.

Love those old pictures. My brother built a go-buggy when he was 12 to 13. Used a 2 cyl engine from a 12A JD combine. Had the engine behind the driver. turned around backwards. Had 900X20 rear tires with chains. would almost go anywhere! Vic

Looks like a Diesel Seventy-Five with the ladies in the seat, nice look back in time, more so with the harvest photos. I remember seeing bare chassis field vehicles like the one in the photo. Its something you don't see anymore.

Thanks for the photos, The two photographs with the 10-20 TracTracTor and the IH harvester are interesting. What model Harvester was it and are there any details known of the tractor.

Think that one would be a 49. Tail light lens about same slope as fender. In 50 the lens was more upright, with a flat area at the top. Chrome ring around it was the same both years.
IIRC, 51 & 52 the light was at the longest part of the fender, where the chrome strip shows on this one.
The black car, with little tyke & "grandpa" standing beside it would be a 37.
My first car was a 50, paid 175 bucks in 58.

Can't be sure, but it's probably an early model McCormack Deering. Looks similar to the Model 11 McCormack's that a couple neighbor's had.

My uncle had a Model 21RD, which was a higher machine and used an elevator canvas to deliver the straw into the cylinder.
