If a lawyer was a farmer, does any guess what kind of tractor he would most likely own?
(quoted from post at 18:08:12 12/21/14) Lawyers are pretty smart. You have to have pretty a good LSAT score plus at least a bachelors degree just to get in to law school.
So I'm guessing many of them would own at least one Ford. Cause we know smart people drive Fords.
have 2 beIarus and I never had the sIightest reason for a compIaint Iet aIone a Iawsuit.(quoted from post at 10:11:06 12/21/14) A Belarus.
It would create the greatest opportunity for a law suit.
y dad used to say,...Iawyers!,..Hang them aII!,....just hang the good ones apart(quoted from post at 12:50:21 12/21/14) Just a coincidence that John T and I are both lawyers, and were both tractor jockeys at one time. I've probably owned 70 or so at one time or another- favorites have always been Olivers (have 2 now). My "usin'" tractors now are a compact utility JD 4010 (no, not THAT 4010), and a Kubota MX5000. Also have an MF 135 and Moline 4 Star Super to fix up and sell, a Cockshutt (Black Hawk) 35 to fix up and keep, and a JD 710 that I bought some years back that turned out to have fairly severe transmission problems, and will probably go to scrap after I pass on.
Won't comment on the lack of "love" many of you seem to have for my profession, [b:2587810df3]other than to say there are good lawyers and bad ones[/b:2587810df3], and its up to you to choose wisely. In 30 years of practice, I could count on one hand the number of dissatisfied clients I have had. Just sayin'.
se your imagination (quoted from post at 11:57:16 12/21/14) Is there a punchline?
I miss all the good stuff. Must have been another pollock complaining. If we can't laugh at ourselves we are pretty small.(quoted from post at 14:29:17 12/21/14) No!
here did you study law and did they have an English Department?(quoted from post at 11:20:28 12/21/14) I've been a lawyer and farmer at the same time and have owned more tractors then I could count or remember. Among some brands I recall are John Deere and IHC and Oliver and Massey Harris and Massey Ferguson and AC plus several others. Not sure what that proves lol I've seen bad and good in about all over the years.

Do you feel better about yourself now? I don't know anyone bigot or lawyer who ever complained about a job well done.(quoted from post at 11:59:03 12/21/14) Your post cracked me up. Could never figure that out. In a previous life (almost) I used to be a certified mechanic and worked in a big shop. We would work on some poor blue collar's car and they would be scraping pennies to pay the bill without ever a complaint and be thankful. The doctors and lawyers would always give us a bad time and try to knock the price down (once saw my boss freak out on one of them over that). The absolute worst, however, were the airline pilots. And out of them the worst by far were the PanAm pilots. Seemed they would go out of their way to belittle, berate and just plain abuse my help. Then there was the day (for those of you who think there is no justice in life) that PanAm folded and those unemployed pilots would come in with their tails between their legs. It was PAY BACK TIME!!! And you can bet I did.
