This is the first load for the day headed for NJ. Another one at 1:00 heading for NC.

I used to load box trailers like that for a guy who ran it to Florida and brought back oranges. Used to get 550? or so bales in there. Dusty, laborsome job loading those box trailers.

I got home about 3PM today and there was a semi trailer in the parking lot next door. Somebody did a terrible job of stacking large round bales and tying them on. There was a local farmer there with his loader, they spent over an hour unloading and re stacking.

The second truck didn't show until five. Were just finishing up. So much for the Christmas party I was gonna go to! Haying is bad enough in the summer but some of us get to do it all winter.

We used to do same thing with box trailers. I felt sorry for the trucker piling the hay both winter and summer. A lot of time the dust was so thick you could not see him.
