OT another computer ?

I have a Samsung tv, not set up for wireless. is there something or someway I can add wireless connection to it.. I want to connect pc to it and its in an adjoining room.. I can hard wire it by going thru wall. any help is appreciated thanks
 
Easiest way is to buy another wireless router and set it up next to the tv as a bridge (a repeater). It handles the wireless signals and your tv is wired to the router. Google "wireless bridge router".

How complicated it is to set up depends on the router you already have and the one you buy; most of the newer ones (made within the past five years or so) will talk to each other. Do some research first, you might need one identical to what you already have or it might be worth buying two new ones.
 
att: TOMinpa thanks for the reply.. my daughter checked our pc modem, I guess it is both a modem and a router [ we use it for our cable telephone and pc.]so I will look and check out your suggestions about another router etc. have a good day
 
I went throught the wall. 25 ft of Wire was only $25. It was a good thing I had external speakers with amp on my computer. The audio out from computer wasn't strong enough for TV.
 

Connect the TV to the PC using an HDMI cable. Get a USB extension cord, plug one end of it to the PC, and then put the wireless dongle from your cordless mouse/keyboard in the other end. Run that usb extension through the wall also, so it is "visible" to the wireless mouse. You can then set in your easy chair and surf the net right on your tv.
 
If the TV has a wired network connection you can get a device that will make that connection wireless. Otherwise you can get a wireless HDMI connection. I have both and they work fine.
