Are you a master wood stacker?

This pic is being used in a CL ad. Pretty neat.

I do well to cut and stack it close to normal. I truly believe Loren the A.C.G. could do that. I am always amazed at his stacking ability.

No, I prefer to just pull the hydraulic lever and let it dump out of the trailer or loader bucket. Have not really stacked any wood since we went to an outdoor boiler 15 years ago. Used to stack it in the basement. We would stack about 10 cord in the basement each fall.

Lee, thanks for the complement. Recently one of my Case buddys posted an image of an eagle in the face of a pile of wood using different species and shapes of split and round wood all stacked in the normal way.

Yep, too much time on their hands.

We cut wood for two Longwoods in home that were 100% wood, the farm shop, and the hunting cabin. 5 stoves total.

We split it in a JD feed wagon with hoist, backed up to the pile, opened the tail gate and pulled the hydraulic lever back. Drive foreward.
