A neighbor come to me and wants to sell his low hours 5020. Under 600 hours. Told me to shot him a fair price. I have no idea what a fair price would be for it. Front tires have been replaced because of age. Rears have not, but look good. Thanks

Look at tractor dot com for information and also you should be able to look up prices on web sites.

Well with what little you gave us I would say $4-5K if real sharp. That is for 2wd and good tires. Take off if none of that is the case.

They where made in Japan. Parts can be got thru Agco but many are no longer available.

Same model as Simplicity 9523, and MF 210.

According to tractor Wikki these were made by Hinomoto in Japan - Hinomoto closed the factory down in early 1990's & the factory was taken over by Hitachi to build excavators.

There are NO spare parts available!

They were sold in blue as Hinomoto and red as MF compacts in Britain. They had serious troubles with the hydrostatic transmissions and these are now worthless!

Looking to my left on this site I see a site called research and info. It lists a site for tractor values.

I owned an AC 5020 for a few years and it was a good tractor. I sold it because of parts availability. The Japanese company that built the tractor no longer exists.

My Buddy has used his 5020 to mow 3-4 acres every week for the last 10-12 years. Only problem he's had is with the 72 inch mower on the tractor. Tractor itself has been totally trouble-free. Just keep the screen ahead of the radiator clean so it gets cooling air and doesn't over-heat.

As others have said no new parts being made for them
I have two of them I bought one is sharp looking with a broken crankshaft the other one looks rough but has a good engine I'd sell the pair for $1000.

I watched this one sell at auction a year ago just a couple of miles from my place. The auctioneer said the 4x4 didn't work and they hadn't tried to start it, so I wasn't prepared to go over $1000 on it. Auctioneers retired (auctioneer) dad bid $3200 on it and I don't think they got another bid. Miraculously the 4x4 was working when he put it on CL a week later...and it has been there ever since. I thought it was a little unprofessional for the auctioneer to declare it needed work and then his dad wind up with it. The 4x4 must have been ok since I don't think parts are available. It had school district stickers on it, so I know it has been run hard....
