This is cool!!!

I didn't get a good look at that tool he used to hook the chains after they were on the wheel. Looks like it would be a useful tool for any chains. Any body know what it's called and where it is available.
There was also what looked like a special link to tighten the chains once they're on What's that called.
I don't drive a truck, but use truck chains on my Power King tractor.
 
Dave, cam lock (over center) system. Several suppliers offer a variant (some advertised with as much as 4" takeup, IIRC), not sure if available for heavily lugged tractor style tires as it will pull against lugs rather than uniformly snugging chain over full tire O.D.as on "smoother" road type tires. Tool he used is like a side pin spanner for maximum clearance.
