Hope this finds you all stuffed by now lol Happy Thanksgiving. Since my family is mostly old fashion traditional and conservative and NOT slaves of the so called Politically Correct Police, on Thanksgiving we eat TURKEY (NOT Veggie Burgers lol) and real Mashed Potatoes and gravy and green beans n corn n rolls n cranberries n pumpkin pie,,,,,,,,,Then the men folk retire to the living room on recliners watching football where we belch, pass gas and take naps while the women folk tidy up n do dishes and they laugh and yak and have fun AND WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THAT ARRANGEMENT thank you...........

Happy and blessed thanksgiving John. It's the same arrangement here. The guys are kicked out of the small kitchen because they are in the way. After the meal they retire to the living room so they don't end up washing dishes. Today there is only one guy, Me, and four women; Marilyn and three granddaughters. The granddaughter's dad stopped in on the way to his mom's house, their mother is looking down from above, dad and my stepmom are at home in town. We're going to visit them this eve.

Granddaughters just left. Marilyn claims she is going to sit down and watch a movie. I'll have to see that!
 
Same back at you John, our resident gentleman electrician, lawyer, camper guru, and all around nice guy. I am in agreement with your schedule for the day, except no football for me!
 
John, I was with you until the football. For some reason I never cared much for sports, as for belching, passing gas that is normal. As long as we leave the table first. Have a happy Thanksgiving. Stan
 
Well John we had the same meal as you only we had apple pie not pumpkin. (got the apples from someone you know for free) Middle boy and his lady friend were here today. Life is good, so now I am on the computer so I can burn off the extra calories that I took in from the big meal and the barley pops that I consumed

Only 2 people to cook for this year and since I enjoy kitchen time as much as tractor time I did up a glazed turkey breast, whipped taters w/gravy, peas, broccoli, Grands biscuits and a cherry pie. Even found most of the kitchen after wards. What didn't I have to do? Horse chores all 3 times LOL
