Just want to wish a Happy, Safe Thanksgiving to all. Thanks for all the help from the people on this forum. Don't forget to pray for our country and our troops home and overseas. God Bless you all, Chris
 
I suppose growing up, and living on a farm makes it easier to appreciate Thanksgiving for it's true meaning. Harvest was usually, or mostly done. A warm house, full of food and conveniences gave this youth a comfortable feeling. In my young mind that was standard. As a youngster I didn't have the patience to read. I learned and knew the basics, like most of us. When the weather closes in, as I have aged, I read. Mostly American history. More and more, I am overwhelmed by the pain, suffering, sacrifice, blood spilled, and countless lives lost which bought this unprecedented peace and prosperity for me. It's more than I deserve. I have never had to live behind a locked door. Never spent a night in the cold. Never gone hungry. Now I know how rare that is. I can't be grateful enough.
 
Happy Thanksgiving to all. We got hit by a Snow storm last night. I now must go out & plow the drive way so family can drive in at Noon. Must be 8" to 10" of it. This is the first plowing of the season.
