I took the shotgun I asked about Sunday to a Gun Dealer I know. The guy is extremely knowlegable. He couldn't tell me either, except that it was a high quality gun. Also that Gunmark is an Importer. He did say that it had the letters SGF stamped in the barrel and receiver, and he thought that could mean it is a Franchi. Would anyone know if the letters might mean that? Thanks again - Bob
 
I saw your original post and the pics. I bet the gun is a Spanish, Italian or Turkish production model fronm the 80's or 90's. It just has that look to it. If you are happy with it, good on you. But if it was a Franchi or some high dollar maker it would be marked as such.
