OT computer spyware downloads

OK guys, I've seen it on here before and keep in mind that I'm 100% dummy when it comes to computers. My daughter has to have Foxfire for her internet browser for college. It has volsteran attached to it and from what I can find out it is a virus. What is the best download to get rid of this Or how do I get rid of it? Thanks a bunch in advance. Keith
 
My computer has been acting funny for a while.It's slower,sometimes takes 20 seconds to respond.When you go to click on something the little arrow on the screen does nothing until a little scroll thing appears for 10 seconds or so then I get the little hand with the pointing finger to click on something.Sometimes it's kind of jerky when you scroll down a page,or jumps when you stop on a page.How do you know what virus or problem you have?
 
Ive had similar problems with mine as well. At times Ive had to click twice on something to get it going.
 
Everyone needs a virus checker. Get Avast or AVG free versions. Also Eusing Registry cleaner (free).
just click 'skip' at the registration form. I run Eusing about everyday when I am taking a break. It always speeds up my old XP puter. The 'free ones' do not run automatically, you have to do it. If you like autorun, you can pay for it.
 
You always need to load Firefox browser directly from Mozilla.org. You can get nasty's if you down load it from other sites. If it is only affecting Firefox uninstall it and download and install it from Mozilla.

I agree, down load it from Mozilla. I never have any issues in Firefox that are related tot he program.
